Curd smoothing machine and mixer for fresh cheese and stirred yoghurt
The curd-smoothing machine and mixer, as their name suggest, smooth curd to improve its texture and provide a uniform distribution of water.
Mainly used for the manufacture of cottage cheese (at 18% maximum dry extract), it is also suitable for the manufacture of fromage frais and stirred yoghurt.
The drained curd is whipped and stirred by the smoothing machine. This breaks up the residual protein clusters. Smoothing gives a more homogeneous and creamy finished texture
The mixer needs to be mounted on an electric drill with variable speed drive.
The smoothing machine has a smoothing rate that varies between 100 and 400kg/h depending on the nature of the product. The hopper has a volume of 50L.
An electrical control box is fitted on the trolley-steering handle which is fitted with a castoring wheel. After smoothing, discharge into pails is possible for volumes from 0.5L. The machine is cleaned in a closed circuit. Electrical power is 0.75kW.
